Anna Gunn

Anna Gunn was born in the US. Her most famous role is Skyler White in her role on the AMC drama Breaking Bad, for which she won the Primetime Emmy Award in 2013 and 2014 for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series. The actress also played Martha Bullock in Deadwood and Jean Ward on The Practice. Anna Gunn was born in Sante Fe New Mexico, in the year 1968. She fell in love acting at Preparatory school prior to moving to Ohio with her family in the early 1970s. She studied theatre at Northwestern University, and spent an entire semester at the British American Drama Academy. Anna was a part of a couple of seasons performing in Chicago theater before transitioning to TV and film roles. Anna got her big break in 1992 when she appeared as Arden for 29 episodes of Down the Shore. Anna continued appearing in films as well as TV shows such Seinfeld, NYPD Blue and others until late the 1990's. Then she was cast in The Practice as Jean Ward. Martha Bullock played two full seasons of Deadwood that was shot between 2000 and 2001. Skyler played Martha Bullock on screen in Breaking Bad (2008). Sully and Deadwood was also an integral the highlights of her career. Gunn was on stage to star in David Schwimmer's Sex With Strangers. Gunn acted as Numbered Days, a four-part audio show that premiered that will air in 2022. Breaking Bad often revolves around Walter White and Skyler's relationship. The strains and eventual ending mirrors the last seasons that were the life of Walter White.
