Adults are person or animal who has attained full growth.The biological meaning of the word means animals that have reached sexual maturity, which makes it capable of reproduction. Within the human realm, adult is a reference to social and legal concepts. Contrary to the term "minor" or "non-adult" legally-aged adult is a person that has reached the age of the age of majority. They are regarded as responsible, independent and capable. They may also be regarded as a "major". The average age at which you can attain legal adulthood is 18, however, definitions can differ based on the legal rights of the country as well as the stage of psychological development.

Human development is the time in which full mental and physical maturity has been achieved. The typical age for adulthood is the age of 21, or 20. Mid-life, beginning approximately 40 years of age then follows by an ageing process that can last up to 60 years old. Young adulthood starts between ages of 18 and 30. Mid-life adulthood begins around in the 30s to the 60s. Later adulthood is when we reach the middle of 60s. As we enter early adulthood the body is at the fullest physical maturation. Yet, our height and our weight can increase. As we grow older, we are at the highest level of physical abilities.
